摘要
Quantitive studies of the optical constants of Fluorogold at near-millimetre wavelengths and a temperature of 293 K reveal a significant degree of birefringence and dichroism. There is no reason to believe that the dichroism and birefringence found should decrease significantly at cryogenic temperatures, and this should be clearly borne in mind in the use and application of this material in near-millimeter wavelength systems.
