摘要
A practical example of channel flow shows that by stagnation of the surface flow, soluble amphiphilics can be put into compression states, with maximum values (reaching monolayer collapse at the stagnation point in extreme cases) controlled by convection rate and solute concentration. Through the example of n-octanoic and n-decanoic acid it is shown that water-soluble amphiphilics are in principle suitable for the LB technique in this manner, and at the same time the aim of continuous monolayer transfer is realized. The kinetics ruling the stationary stagnation state are derived and proved quantitatively; the concentration and convection values needed for the desired surface pressure can hence be predicted from the concentration dependence of the surface tension.
