摘要
To address currently important questions about the impact of commodity prices on inflation, reduced form price models have been constructed for five primary commodity categories, including petroleum. These are used to explain commodity price aggregates and inflation in the industrial world. The simulations suggest that increases in commodity prices will have only little inflationary effect unless serious commodity market shocks occur.
