摘要
Rice lines were screened in the field for resistance to Oebalus pugnax (F.) by caging the rice stink bug nymphs on panicles. Lines differed significantly from each other for weight loss per kernel because of stink bug feeding. Weight per kernel of selection numbers Stg 709494, Stg 70M7046, and Stg 69M5164 was reduced 10, 12, and 14%, respectively, compared to lines PI 277244, PI 291504, and variety ''Colusa'', in which reductions in kernel weight were 64, 66, and 76%, respectively. Infested panicles of selection numbers Stg 70L1188 and Stg 70L1217 had significantly fewer pecky kernels than 14 commercial varieties. Nymphal development was significantly longer on 6 lines than on the commercial variety ''Starbonnet''.
