摘要
The possibility to use X-ray multilayer mirrors (XMLMs) as synchrotron radiation (SR) X-ray monochromators was investigated. It was shown that XMLMs have advantages in comparison with ideal crystal monochromators when used in experiments demanding the waveband (Delta lambda/lambda) 10(-1)-10(-3) and acceptance angles from 0.02 to 5 mrad. Double mirror monochromators which allow us to suppress the undesired harmonics of a spectrum by a factor of 10(3)-10(4) are suggested. Such a suppression is sufficient for most SR experiments.
