摘要
The large difference in the affinity of N-methylpyrazinium cations for the ethylenediaminetetraacetate complexes of Ru(II) and Ru(III) produces a pattern of irreversibility in the electrochemical responses exhibited by these complexes. A combination of electrochemical and spectral measurements was utilized to obtain estimates of the equilibrium constants, rate constants, and formal potentials for a "square scheme", which characterizes the behavior or the system.
