EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE ON THE LUMINESCENCE FROM EU2O3

摘要
An effect of temperature on the shift of the Eu3 ion luminescence from the 5D0 → 7F0 transition has been studied experimentally for powdered C-type (bcc) and B-type (monoclinic) Eu2O3. Knowledge of both the temperature and the pressure dependencies enabled us to separate the temperature-derived and the volume-derived contributions to dvldT. Details of the temperature effect and a mechanism for the shift in luminescence are discussed. © 1993 Academic Press, Inc.
