摘要
A short novel route to heteroyohimbine alkaloids is described. The key step in the process is the alkylation of a meso-ketone, during which its symmetry is broken. When chiral lithium amide bases are used for the ketone deprotonation encouraging levels of enantioselectivity are observed. © 1990.
