INFLUENCE OF SOL-GEL METHODS ON THE SUPERCONDUCTING YBA2CU3O7-X PHASE

摘要
The superconducting YBa2Cu3O7-x properties depend critically on the preparation method. Different sol-gel syntheses : alkoxoacetylacetonate, acetate, nitrate/PAA, acetate/PAA routes (with PAA : polyacrylic acid) are compared. The involved reaction mechanisms were investigated and the intermediate and final products were characterized by Infrared spectroscopy, DTA and TGA, X-Ray diffraction analysis, Scanning Electron Microscopy and electrical measurements. The highest electrical properties of the bulk material have been obtained by nitrate/PAA route (Tcoff = 91.8K, ΔTc = 1K, Jc = 420Acm-2). Method using carboncontaining precursors generated much BaCO3 and/or BaCuO2 phases during the synthesis which decrease critical temperature. © 1990.
