摘要
The high temperature formation of intermetallic phases in the Fe-Zn system has been studied by means of synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction, using an image plate detector. In order to record the time-resolved diffraction pattern we have developed a novel method of simultaneous scanning of the image plate during the exposure. At least three intermetallic phases could thus be identified during the alloying process. The initial results show that the method can be used to obtain quantitative information on the phase composition in such systems, and that there are definite advantages in comparison with commonly used position sensitive detectors.
