摘要
The influence of the electrodynamic environment on the I-V characteristics of a normal tunnel junction is investigated beyond the framework of perturbation theory and the tunneling Hamiltonian method. It is possible to get a complete answer using semiclassical methods. The physical background of the effect is discussed, and the case of a strong Coulomb blockade is considered as an example.
