FASTER COMPUTATION OF Z-MATRICES FOR RECTANGULAR SEGMENTS IN PLANAR MICROSTRIP CIRCUITS

摘要
A variational method in the spectral domain for faster computations of Z-matrices of rectangular segments in planar microstrip circuits is presented. The method involves the summation of a singly infinite series. Convergence is much faster than with the currently used numerical summation of the doubly infinite series in the corresponding Green's function. A comparison with the earlier method for a typical case is presented.
