ADVANCES IN LITHIUM-LOADED GLASS SCINTILLATOR FIBER DEVELOPMENT

摘要
Lithium-loaded glass scintillator fibers with Ce3+- and Tb3+-doping were studied. Terbium-doped fibers offer low attenuation but a slow radiative decay. Improvements were made in the attenuation length of cerium-doped fibers by minimizing the draw temperature.
