摘要
The article presents various factors affecting biodegradation of 2,4-D and related xenobiotic compounds and models describing the biodegradation rates. Several models are examined to determine their applicability in correlating physiochemical properties to biodegradation rate constants that can be applied to either cometabolic or growth associated substrate utilization. Models considered are: Monod model and Haldane model.
