摘要
Rat p(67) is an initiation factor-2 associated protein, which plays important roles in translational regulation. A cDNA that encodes a homologue of rat p(67) was isolated from a human liver cDNA library. The encoded protein contains 478 amino acids with a calculated molecular mass of 52 891 and an isoelectric point of 5.64. The amino acid sequence is 92% identical to that of rat p(67). The corresponding mRNA has a size of similar to 2.1 kb and is present in all tested human tissues.
