摘要
The glass transition temperature (T//g) is a characteristic parameter of a polymer and is sensitive to the composition of a copolymer. Since T//g can be determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) with reasonable accuracy, this technique can be a viable alternative to chemical and nmr methods. The present study includes the synthesis of copolymers of maleic anhydride/diethyl fumarate with other comonomers (which can homopolymerize) using varying initial feed ratios and determines the T//g value of the resultant polymers by DSC.
