摘要
A theoretical treatment based on impact theory is used to evaluate the pressure shifts and broadening of selected methanol lines. Good agreement is found with existing experimental measurements. This treatment provides a resolution of the discrepancy in the literature for the pressure shift of the 170. 6 mu m methanol laser line.
