THE AHARONOV-BOHM EFFECT IN THE FRACTIONAL QUANTUM HALL REGIME

摘要
We have observed Aharonov-Bohm oscillations around an antidot in the fractional quantum Hall regime. The oscillations have the same h/e period as a function of magnetic field as in the integer quantum Hall regime. This directly demonstrates for the first time the existence of fractionally charged quasiparticles.
