摘要
An intermediate of the HX‐initiated ring‐opening of oxirane could be characterized in the gas phase by microwave spectroscopy for the case X = Cl. Oxirane and HCL could only be mixed at the time of expansion so as to hinder ring‐opening by immediate “freezingin” of the complex. The structure proposed on the right with ϕ = 77° was derived from an analysis of the rotation spectrum. (Figure Presented.) Copyright © 1990 by VCH Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, Germany
