RELATIVISTIC MANY-BODY CALCULATIONS OF IONIZATION ENERGIES AND FINE-STRUCTURE INTERVALS IN AG AND AU ATOMS

摘要
The relativistic ionisation energies and fine-structure intervals of some states in Au and Ag atoms have been computed including correlation effects within the MBPT treatment with a long basis set of virtual orbitals. The obtained results exhibit a considerably improved agreement with experiment in comparison with the single-configuration Dirac-Fock data.
