摘要
Porous Ni(Zn) coatings are prepared from the electrodeposition of NiZn alloys followed by chemical leaching in KOH solution. A pyrophosphate bath is used to electrodeposit NiSn alloys (14-84 at.% Sn). Polarization curves for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions in 28 wt% KOH solution at 70-degrees-C are presented for selected Ni(Zn) and NiSn coatings. The electrocatalytic activity of a Ni(Zn) porous anode is maintained after 850 h of electrolysis, whereas the NiSn cathode loses its properties.
