摘要
This study surveyed all music therapists identified as working with clients involved in domestic violence to determine assessment and treatment techniques employed with battering men, battered women, and the children of battered women. Nonmusic behaviors music therapists most commonly assessed and the music activities or conditions they employed to assess or treat such behavior were reported for the functional psychiatric assessment areas of behavior, affect, sensory, imagery, cognitive, interpersonal, drugs, physical well being, and speech. Music behaviors music therapists most commonly assessed, with the conditions they employed to assess such behavior, were reported for eight categories of music behavior derived from the music therapy literature, developmental checklists of music behavior, and music curricula for exceptional children. © 1990 Oxford University Press.
