摘要
Flame conditions which permit the excitation of the atomic spectrum of phosphorus are reported. The analytical utilities of the atomic spectra and the phosphorus monoxide bands are compared for different flame types and detection limits are given. Interference effects are evaulated and a simple batch ion exchange separation is given for the elimination of these effects. The method has been applied to the analysis of biological materials and the results are shown to compare favorably with colorimetric results.
