摘要
In this paper, several solution algorithms for solving distribution power flow equations are investigated. The solution algorithms make use of special characteristics of distribution power networks to achieve computational efficiency. The solution algorithms appear to always converge to load flow solutions when applied to several practical distribution networks. Both analytical results and physical arguments are provided to explain why the solution algorithms always converge. Numerical properties and the robustness issue associated with the solution algorithms are discussed. Properties regarding the convergence and rate of convergence of the solution algorithms are examined. A 69-bus distribution power network is used to demonstrate the efficiency of the solution algorithms.
