摘要
First boronization was achieved in Tore Supra with a 10% B2H6 + He mixture. A quantitative inventory of the boron compound deposition during the boronization by means of residual gas analysis shows that at wall temperature of 200-degrees-C, 96.4% of the diborane is cracked and this ratio reaches 99.8% when the glow discharge is performed. Analysis of exposed samples yields a high boron concentration and a B/C ratio constant on the 100 nm depth of the deposited layer. The oxygen content of the discharge decreased by a factor of 5, and consequently the Mq product (M being the Murakami parameter) increased from 7 to 11.8 X 10(19) m-2 T-1. After the second boronization performed in 10% B2H6 + D2 gas mixture a low isotopic ratio H/(H+D) in the plasma and enhanced recycling properties have been obtained.
