STRONG CHANGES IN THE PHONON DENSITY OF STATES FOR LI1+XTI2-XO4 WHEN GOING FROM X = 0 (SUPERCONDUCTOR) TO X = 1/3 (INSULATOR)

摘要
Via inelastic neutron scattering experiments the phonon densities of states of the spinel compound Li1+xTi2-xO4 have been determined for x = 0 (superconductor), x = 0. 15 (semiconductor) and x = 1/3 (insulator). Pronounced frequency shifts are registered which much closer resemble those found for the HTC cuprates than for "conventional" BCS-materials.
