摘要
The present work is carried out in the framework of an integrated hydrogen energy system analysis aiming at optimization of a metal hydride hydrogen energy storage bed. A convective bed model is assumed and a mathematical model is developed to simulate the dynamic phenomenon of hydrogen discharge as a function of bed hydrogen pressure, metal hydride hydrogen content, hydrogen gas mass flow rate and temperature, in addition to bed material and geometric conditions. In this paper the developed mathematical model is described and solved using the finite difference numerical analysis method. A case study is applied on LaNi5H6. It is presented including sample input data, output results and conclusions.
