摘要
Results of numerical analysis of hydrodynamic models for vertical pneumatic conveying of both single-sized particles and a binary mixture of particles are presented. The theoretical values of pressure and solid velocities along the pipe axis obtained for single-sized particles are found to be in agreement with the experimental data of L. Kerker as well as with the data of O. H. Hariu and M. C. Molstad and the data of F. A. Zenz regarding the overall pressure drops. The effect of the solid-wall friction on the theoretical predictions is found to be very important.
