摘要：

The structure factor measured by x-ray scattering experiments on argon is compared with the same quantities calculated with two different intermolecular potentials. We show that it is not possible to get, from the scattering data, quantitative information concerning the interaction and that the discrepancy between theory and experiment is probably due to a systematic error in the latter. © 1968 The American Physical Society.
