摘要
We grew and studied CuGa(x)In1-xSe2 and CuGa(x)In1-xTe2 compounds. An X-ray analysis allowed us to show that they can form solid solutions. Luminescence studies showed the fundamental role of the Cu and Se (Te) vacancies, as in I-III-VI2 compounds. Moreover, this study allowed us to confirm the emission due to V(Cu), and to observe a high efficiency emission, which is perhaps due to Se (Te) in interstitial or antisite positions. A precise method was deduced from this study to determine the composition of the solid solutions, by measuring the peak energy of the emission due to V(Cu).
