摘要：

A synopsis of research on the characteristics and culture of Chinese business methods is used as the basis for developing insights into the cultural aspects of information. Cultural implications in the design of Information Systems (IS) and Decision Support Systems are developed. The classical paradigms of IS studies are rooted in Western thought. Cultural differences need to be recognized in IS design: methodologies of design need a cultural dimension.
