摘要
This paper describes some experiences using remote sensing data, provides a brief discussion of some notable successes by ecologists, and offers thoughts on some of the impediments to the use of remote sensing by ecologists. The promise remote sensing technology offers to ecology is to provide data at large and synoptic scales. -from Authors
