摘要
Three series of aluminum alloys are used to protect steel in seawater: Al-Zn-Hg, Al-Zn-Sn, and Al-Zn-In. This paper presents a study of the activation mechanism of indium in Al-Zn-In alloys. Some experiments with Sn and Hg were conducted to determine if the proposed mechanism for indium is also valid for An, Hg, or Sn.
