STUDIES OF THE INP-CR-2+ JAHN-TELLER SYSTEM BY THERMALLY DETECTED EPR

摘要
Thermally detected EPR experiments at approximately 9 and approximately 35 GHz on chromium-doped InP have been carried out in order to obtain accurate values for the parameters appearing in both the spin and effective Hamiltonians for isolated Crin2+ ions. As in the case of the very similar GaAs:CrGa2+ system, it is shown that a strain-stabilised, strongly coupled T (X) e Jahn-Teller model is appropriate for this system.
