CONVERSION OF NORMAL-BUTANOL ACETONE MIXTURES TO C-1-C-10 HYDROCARBONS ON HZSM-5 TYPE ZEOLITES

摘要
The conversion of n-butanol/acetone mixtures to C1-C-10 hydrocarbons has been studied. ZSM-5 type zeolites with different Si/Al ratios, synthesized in our laboratories, were used as catalysts. The best results were obtained with a HZSM-5 zeolite (Si/Al = 36), using a 30 wt % sodium montmorillonite as binder. The effect of operating conditions (space time, temperature, and pressure) and the influence of water content of the feed on the reaction conversion have been studied.
