摘要
Traditionally, implementation has meant everything from writing, testing, and debugging code to installing the system for the user. Recently, the concept of implementation has been broadened to include getting the user to use the system. The purposes of the paper are to provide a theoretical framework for the broader definition of implementation and its applicability to computer-aided software engineering (CASE) technology, and to provide some empirically derived yet practical guidelines for implementing (CASE) systems given the framework.
