EXCHANGE-COUPLED PAIR MODEL FOR THE NON-CURIE-LIKE SUSCEPTIBILITY IN CONDUCTING POLYMERS

摘要
The temperature dependence of the susceptibility, measured in the oxidized and reduced forms of polyparaphenylene and polypyrrole, is analysed using an exchange-coupled pair model applied earlier to random-exchange Heisenberg-antiferromagnetic-chainlike systems. The model, within its limitations, is shown to account well for the susceptibility behavior.
