摘要
Persistent current flow in (Y//0//. //6Ba//0//. //4)//2CuO//4 ceramic is reported. An upper limit for the resistivity of 4. 2 multiplied by 10** minus **1**6 OMEGA cm is deduced, thus demonstrating superconductivity in this material in a very direct fashion. The yttrium barium cuprate was prepared by mixing the required amounts of the appropriate oxides with barium carbonate. The purity of the materials used was four nines quality.
