摘要：

The tribe Stapelieae (Asclepiadaceae) is recircumscribed to include the Ceropegieae. The Stapelieae are distinguished from other tribes in the Asclepiadoideae primarily by the inner or apical germinating mouth on each pollinium. A tribal description and a tentative list of genera for the Stapelieae is given and a key to the tribes and subfamilies of Asclepiadaceae is provided.
