摘要
After a brief review of the experimental and theoretical studies on spin (S) one linear-chain Heisenberg antiferromagnet (LCHA), we report on our high field magnetization measurements in a typical S = 1 LCHA material, NENP and on the analysis of the experimental data. Using the theory developed in analyzing the magnetization curves, we have been able to explain the behavior of the excitation spectrum of NENP in external magnetic fields obtained from the neutron inelastic scattering experiment.
