IMPROVED METHOD FOR THE DETERMINATION OF TRIADIMEFON, TRIADIMENOL-A, AND TRIADIMENOL-B IN WHEAT PLANTS (TRITICUM-AESTIVUM L) AND SOIL SAMPLES BY GAS-CHROMATOGRAPHY

摘要
A simple and specific method is described for the individual determination of triadimefon and triadimenol diastereomers (-A and -B) in wheat plants and soil samples at residue levels. The quantification of the residues was made by gas chromatography with a thermionic specifity detector with a glass column (1.4 m x 2 mm i.d.) packed with Carbowax 20 M coated on 125-150 mu-m Chromosorb. The method exhibits good recovery for the three substances at fortification levels ranging from 0.01 to 10.00 mg/kg. Recovery for all sample types is 86-114% for triadimefon, 91-114% for triadimenol-A and 98-109% for triadimenol-B. Limits of detection and determination are 0.01 mg/kg.
