摘要
Based on Lapunov's first method an analytical condition has been derived for the local asymptotic stability of an adiabatic tubular reactor with recycle. The condition concerns a single reaction described by any rate expression. The method of analysing stability by means of the condition proposed consists in tabulating an appropriate inequality, thus leading to the determination of stable and unstable regions of operation.
