摘要
High photocatalytic activity for methanol dehydrogenation has been revealed with (NEt4)3[IrH(SnCl3)5], yielding dihydrogen and dimethoxymethane in a stoichiometric ratio. The important role of [IrH(SnCl3)5]3- species in photocatalysis for alcohol dehydrogenation with tin(II)-coordinated iridium(III) complexes was confirmed; the reaction rates were enhanced by adding SnCl2, LiCl and HCl to this complex in appropriate amounts.
