摘要
The static stress concentration in fibers adjacent to broken fibers, the stress distribution along the fiber axis in broken and intact fibers and shear stresses between broken and intact fibers in elastic fiber-metal matrix composites were calculated using a two-dimensional model applying shear lag analysis. The effects of plastic deformation and interfacial debonding on the stress concentration and distribution are quantitatively estimated.
