HIGH-RESOLUTION C-13 NMR-SPECTRA IN GRAPHITE CHEMICAL-SHIFT AND DIAMAGNETISM

摘要
We have obtained high resolution **1**3C NMR spectra of graphite which are composed of two narrow lines. The temperature dependence of **1**3C NMR shift from 77 to 473 K, and the angular dependence from H//0 parallel c to H//0 PERPEND c were measured. The spin lattice relaxation time T// vertical of each resolved line at room temperature was also measured. It was found that the main contribution to the **1**3C NMR shift is the chemical shift (electron orbital interaction), and that the anisotropic chemical shift is expressed as the sum of the temperature-independent part and the temperature-dependent part which is proportional to the anisotropic bulk susceptibility.
