摘要
In this work, we have found that partially silylated silicic acid prepared from silicic acid and TMCS provides a fibrous polysiloxane through investigation of the condensation of the silylate in various solvents and at differing degrees of silylation (DS) as estimated quantitatively by NMR spectra. From this result it was shown that a concentrated dioxane solution of partially silylated silicic acid with DS-70-80% had a remarkable spinnability and could give a fibrous polysiloxane with a length of more than 200 cm.
