摘要
Transient absorption, fluorescence and conductivity were measured on phenylated poly(phenylenevinylene)s (P‐PPV) in solution and in film after UV pulse excitation in picosecond region. Transient absorption bands of distinguishable rise and decay kinetics were observed. The fluorescence shows two exponential decay times in ps‐ and ns‐region, resp, Transient photoconductivity also exhibits a ps‐ and a ns‐time component. The mobility of carriers was estimated.
