THE INVESTIGATION OF PRODUCTION PROCESS FEATURES AND PROPERTIES OF NB3SN SUPERCONDUCTORS WITH EXTENDED INTERNAL TIN SOURCES

摘要
The patterns of production of extended internal tin source superconductors are considered. It is shown that the application of different patterns of superconductor production makes it possible to vary over a wide range the content of stabilizing copper in a finished wire. Superconductors empty set 0.5 - 1.5 mm with volume fraction stabilizing copper 30-60 % are manufactured. The data on superconducting properties of wires produced depending upon heat treatment for 20-72 hours in the temperature range of 600-750-degrees-C are given. Overall current density (without stabilizing copper) made up 2.0 x 10(5) A/cm2 and 3.7 x 10(4) A/cm2 in magnetic fields 8 and 15 T correspondingly. Comparing of the results obtained with the data that are characteristic for superconductors with central tin source is carried out. The Jk value (without copper) of 2.3 x 10(5) A/cm2 in magnetic field 10 T is shown to be achieved on samples with central tin source.
