摘要
Synchrotron radiation photoemission and inverse photoemission spectra are measured for ferrimagnetic Mn2Sb and ferromagnetic MnAlGe. The different contributions from two inequivalent Mn sites (I and II) in Mn2Sb are experimentally revealed by taking the difference of the photoemission spectra of two materials as well as by the resonance photoemission technique. It is found that the Mn(II) site has less itinerant character than the Mn(I) site. The results are consistent with the difference of the magnetic moments associated with both sites.
