THE HYDROTHERMAL SYNTHESIS OF BISMUTH OXIDE CHLORIDES

摘要
The compounds, Bi//4O//5Cl//2, Bi//2//4O//3//1Cl//1//0, Bi//3O//4Cl, and Bi//1//2O//1//7Cl//2 have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. H//2O and mixtures of Bi//2O//3 and BiOCl have been used as solvent and starting materials. The crystallization field of these compounds has been revealed in the range 350 to 550 degree C. A structural image of Bi//4O//5Cl//2 has been observed by a high resolution transmission electron microscope and compared with the crystal structure model. The thermal stability region of Bi//4O//5Cl//2 has been reexamined.
